@RavensAtLaw All doctors seemed to agree he'd be fine short term but long term the knee prospects were in doubt and the Ravens got like 5 different opinions on it including the Dallas doctor's and all were skeptical of the knee long term

All of this stuff is bs. Teams send physicals and medical information ahead of time. The Ravens gotta do their owns exam yes but everyone knew he was coming off injury. Looks like they werent expecting to bleed players at the rate they did and panicked.

One thing to remember here: Failing a physical for an NFL player isn't a black-and-white thing. It's more or less based on a score for a player, and different teams will have different levels of tolerance for risk off that score. The other thing involved is the level of investment—naturally, a team is going to be more willing to take a risk signing a guy to a one-year deal than it would be, say, trading two first-round picks for a player. That's why, in the draft, oftentimes you'll hear there might be a certain round where a team would be comfortable taking a player with injury history. Anyway, this is all a big mess. And the grey area leaves a lot open for interpretation.

My biggest frustration with John Simpson is the penalties. Was top of the league in 2023. Was top of the league last year. In 2023 he was tied with Jawan Taylor for the most holding calls. In 2025, only Latham, Eluemanor and Wilkinson had more and they were mostly due to falst starts

There was no reason to pick that option up.
