Unemployment amongst 18-24 year old males has hit 17.2% Just a year ago, it was 13.8%. There's something going seriously wrong with our economy.

@TwinGalaxys @KaneE101007 @JMcMurdockMP if you had an abortion at 9 months you would just induce labor. THAT is murder, but its arbitrary because there haven't been 5 cases of abortion happening that late in the uk since the abortion act came in. 0.1% of abortion cases happen after 23 weeks.

I dont think being overly emotional is particularly helpful when it comes to matters of the law but for the first time since becoming an MP I am genuinely sad about what parliament has done. I am sad because I know what the consequences will be. I am sad because I know nervous first time parents might give way to doubt and opt out of parenthood and how the reality of that means they'll be denied the greatest gift life will ever give them and instead inherit a life of monstrous guilt. I am sad because, now, healthy babies will be destroyed. I am really sorry that the UK has legalised full term abortion. For what it's worth, I voted NO. I am going to squeeze my children a little tighter and thank the universe a little more than normal this morning. You cannot become unpregnant. You just become the parent of a child you killed. That is the reality of life. We must face it. My babies.

The House of Lords have voted narrowly in favour of allowing abortion up-to-birth in England & Wales. The only solace is that one day they will meet Jesus.

@BlobWarriorUK @cfdownes_ omg its still fucking illegal! the woman who gives birth just can be prosecuted, the doctor can. and abortion past the cut off point accounts for 0.1% of abortions.

@cfdownes_ How can anyone think it's ok to give birth to a full term baby and then kill it? This government is evil. Old people will be next! Immigrants are their priority.

Abortion up to birth is monstrous. It is a symptom of a society that has utterly given up on itself. The Government has just voted to decriminalise it. Restore Britain will reverse that.

The UK House of Lords has just legalised abortion up to birth. Women can now end the life of their unborn baby at any stage, for any reason, without legal consequences. A truly dark day for Britain.

@TheHauskarl you need to stop using the word legalise. its still illegal to preform an abortion past the 26 week period. the woman who has it simply cannot be prosecuted. the doctor who preformed it can.

It's not just the policy in itself that's at issue; it's what one can infer from such decision-making. A regime that legalises abortion up to the point of birth may be safely assumed to be capable of anything. The law is becoming difficult to distinguish from merely the rule of the wicked dressed up in ermine. Evil as policy is still evil, irrespective of the degree of ceremony and utterings of "Our honourable friend" in which it is clothed.

@CSencePolitics @Buckason22 @PolitlcsUK lobbying, that's the issue. its legal but nobody likes it. And because while it would lower gas prices slightly, the oil reserve is almost dried up. reliance on a fuel source that is expected to be gone in 30 years max is not sustainable. where as renewable alternatives are.
