The thing about common sense is that it’s not very common. All Views are my own.

The majority of the problems in the country could be solved within a few years. But those in charge don’t have the courage to make the changes and everyone else suffers for it.

@CFA_Yin @theeobservist @GBPolitcs @Telegraph 2/2 but people have been pampered to the point of it now being acceptable to not work at all because you’re a bit nervous or a bit sad and to claim for it instead. I’m not ruling out those who have it severely, but I’ll tell you that £4B sum is not all spent on severe cases .

@CFA_Yin @theeobservist @GBPolitcs @Telegraph 1/2 That’s such a poor argument. It is common sense. The 40 hour working week has been going on since the 1800s, people have always worked through stress, depression and burnout as it’s human to get that sometimes.

@d_peter17473 @theeobservist @GBPolitcs @Telegraph I’m not arguing about chronic health conditions but £4B is not all chronic health conditions. I worked through the loss of family members, stress, depression and burn out. Because I know the world is bigger than I am and it won’t stop turning because I’m a little “sensitive”

@thelefttake The “illiterate boomers” have seen the damage polices like the ones Polanski wants to introduce. They are tired of and being called names and villainised because they disagree with him, and how he operates and what he will do. Hope not hate but anyone who disagrees is a facist

@thelefttake It’s not the system it’s the people in charge of it. All Polanski will do is give more hand me outs and become the reason people are further priced out. Tell me, have you done any research into the policies him and the Green Party want to introduce and the damage they’ll do?

If you want to understand why today’s youth support Zack Polanski, look no further than the replies on this post. It’s a sea of illiterate boomers telling the young they’re stupid to demand a different system to the one that has priced them out of home-owning and familyhood.
thelefttake@thelefttake

Zack Polanski is by far the most popular candidate for Prime Minister among Britain's 18-24 year olds. Over 3x more popular than Nigel Farage. 7x more popular than Rupert Lowe.

@RejiYates You mean other than the increases to minimum wage that have already happened? The reason everything keeps going up is because the government keeps increasing taxes to fund things like train drivers or benefits. Companies then hike up their prices to make of for losses……….

@_Unknown_D_ Because of this current government and the one prior People have realised it’s far easier to claim for something and live off of universal credit where you don’t work and earn just as much tax free almost than to actively go out, find a career and do something with your life.

@DarrenBar88 Please tell me Darren How is hope going to reduce my bills. What policies other than “tax the rich” which has already been debunked the Green Party has to improve the country. Because it’s not, you’ll crush small businesses, increase taxes even more and crash the economy.

@DavidMcGregorBN Now try telling people you know that are already struggling that they are going to be paying more money for a family that someone else as chosen to have. How do you think they feel? Trying telling someone who owns a house their bills are going up again Moron.

People ask what Labour has actually done. Try telling a renter facing a no-fault eviction that ending Section 21 doesn’t matter. Try telling a struggling family that breakfast clubs don’t matter. Some of us know these things change lives because we’ve lived it.

People don’t realise the amount of power this man has. It would be all so simple to just swallow your pride and say “you know what, times are tough we need to make a sacrifice for the sake of net zero by starting drilling and fracking again” But that makes too much sense.
Sedd 🇬🇧@SeddSezz

🚨Here’s Ed Miliband’s message to the British people today He says he’ll cut energy bills by £117 even though he promised £150. £117 will hardly help as inflation creeps up and decimates our pockets… Clean power? We need NON-RENEWABLES more than EVER. Not once does Miliband mention drilling and fracking! Fight our corner? Miliband and the loony Labour lot will fight China’s corner forever.

@itllbereyt2020 @BenGrahamUK The tax payer, it’s around £40 billion per plant. But let’s not forget it’d be a long term project, start production of a new one every year or every 2 years. And before you go on about the cost. There’s been £64 billion worth of tax increases in the last two years.

@adamndsmith @SpergDog69 @linmeitalks You must live in la la land surely. People being unhappy isn’t the sole cause of strain on the NHS, it comes from miss management of funds. Stupid D&I schemes internally. Having more managers than workers. You well and truly have no clue and it shows

In short: prioritising happiness and health for people mean they would work harder, are less of a strain on the NHS, and be less likely to emigrate, be prouder of their country, and so on Or we can do what we've been doing already - focus on GDP, more money to the rich, bail out national services, etc - and you can see the results we've got now

Those of you thinking of voting green or like Zack Polanski- get him to debate with an economist and you’ll be embarrassed for him. He doesn’t understand finances or the economy in the slightest - so far removed from reality. I get you may be frustrated with Labour, but we cannot afford to have the greens in government. It would be catastrophic for our economy and who would feel it the most - small business owners , middle earners. Voting for them just because of Israel Gaza is not a good enough reason IMO

@TheProfessorZ @linmeitalks The only thing about Polanski is that he’s a good speaker, if you look at his interviews it’s the confidence he Projects and what he says… But he’s an absolute fucking moron who refuses to change his ways and anyone who argues against him will be called racist or facist

The Professor@TheProfessorZ·
The problem with people considering to vote for Polanski is exactly why they're voting for him: even a debate with an economist will not teach them anything. They fundamentally do not understand the economy, at all. They live in some sort of fantasy world governed by a simpler economic ruleset than some basic mobile phone game. Hell some have suggested to "money print our way out of the climate crisis and fund renewables into perpetuity"

@linmeitalks It’s a common theme with Green Party MPs, candidate, members and voters. They will claim ignorance over any form of argument or statement you give them. Show them hard core evidence and you’ll be labelled a facist or a racist

@TheSalesBull1 Filled in a single report to get a country road done near me. About a month later got an email saying it had all been done. Drove down the same road and a single tiny pit hole had been done. 2 tyres later I’ve filled in 11 separate ones and the same result. Absolute waste.
