Big day. Lightning struck twice on a neighbours farm. Almost had it until gust of wind moved it very quickly across a few properties.
For a while the only thing we could do was get out of the way.
@S_M_Bowman@hirschirsch Should be good to go now i reckon. Bit of a clean up of the pitch, maybe a 4 and out rule and bat from one end. She'll be right!
There are numerous fake farmer accounts claiming support for a live export ban. They don't post anything agricultural, don't follow a single real farmer but do follow @AnimalsAus.
I wonder if these accounts are paid for #misinformation.

@S_M_Bowman@wallworksimon How do they expect to get consumers to buy alternative proteins over meat when even in a disaster fake meat is the only thing left on the shelves
I was left a little baffled by the decision of @MurrayWatt. Let’s make an impact and put our energy towards something of value.
Sign the petition & overturn the live export ban that has sheep & farming families lives in jeopardy not knowing the future

@WINDMERE_FARM@hirschirsch We’ve had 174mm year to date. Looking at the BOM records for Coorow I couldn’t see a year lower than 1969 which was 192mm for the year. Still need 18mm for it to avoid that……..probably qualifies as a drought I would think.
2023 in the north WA is a drought. Some crops will be as bad as 2017 which was our previous driest year on record, but most will be considerably better due to advancements in agronomy. Crops will yield somewhere between what they look at what they should for 99mm
