CCAMP National Bio Entrepreneurship Competition - 6 editions of a national platform for many deep-science startups to take off! In this new series of #NBECWinnerSpotlight, meet the #NBEC2022 Winner in the Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) Category: @TellusHabitat They provide sustainable technologies for the treatment and reclamation of wastewater, eco-engineering of water resources and recovery of resources from solid waste. Amidst escalating water scarcity issues in some of our cities, Tellus Habitat offers a ray of hope with its household greywater recycling technology and modular sewage treatment plants that could provide water security to individual households, apartment complexes, and communities. At NBEC 2022, Tellus Habitat was awarded the WIN Foundation Cash Prize and investment opportunities from @EnziaVC and @ianetwork. Post competition WIN Foundation extended support of INR 12 lakhs and an additional INR 4.5 lakhs from WIN's partner ACT to facilitate their local onsite construction needs for the plant. Moreover, the panchayat allocated land not only for the plant but also for a fodder farm, utilising water from the plant for fodder cultivation.
