BREAKING LEAKED VIDEO: CEO of IBM @ArvindKrishna admits to using coercion to fire people and take away their bonuses unless they discriminate in the hiring process. “You got to move both forward by a percentage that leads to a plus on your bonus," Krishna said about hiring Hispanics, "and by the way if you lose, you lose part of your bonus.” After pulling ads from X for 'racism,' IBM chief Arvind Krishna says he will fire, demote or strip bonuses from execs who don't hire enough blacks, Hispanics — or hire too many Asians "Asians are not an underrepresented minority in tech in America...I’m not going to finess this, for blacks we should try to get towards 13 percent," says Krishna. Paul Cormier, the chairman of Red Hat, a subsidiary of IBM, says in the leaked recording that Red Hat has terminated people because they weren't willing to engage in racial discrimination through hiring and promotion. Title VII of the Civil Rights Act makes it illegal for employers to discriminate on the basis of race in the workplace. #IBMLeaks

PhD theses are sold for as little as ₹30,000 in Delhi’s markets. Yes, you read that right. From law to geography to social sciences, you can purchase a 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆-𝗺𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝗱𝗼𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲 in almost any subject. And this isn’t new. Investigations by India Today, The Guardian, and several local media outlets have 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗲𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀. Yet the business continues. Only now, it’s more online, more organized, and even more normalized. A 2025 report in The Diplomat notes that India’s “publish or perish” culture has only worsened this, pushing thousands into plagiarism, ghostwriting, and fake research to 𝘀𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝗰𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗰 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀. But the real question is not how is this happening? 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝗾𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝘀, 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝗱𝗶𝗱 𝘄𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲? How did knowledge, worshipped in this land as Goddess Saraswati, turn into a commodity? ------------------------------ 𝗔𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗿𝘆𝗮 𝗣𝗿𝗮𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗻𝘁 often cites lovelessness as the root cause behind this decay. We have turned education into merely a means to an end. 𝗔𝗻𝗱 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁’𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗲𝗻𝗱? 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗺𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻. So if a degree can help reach that end faster, through cheating, rote learning, or buying it outright, why wouldn’t one take that route? Because 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 was never the purpose. And this attitude is not limited to education. When love is absent, everything becomes just a commodity, education, relationships, work. Today, both our 𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 are suffering from this deep absence of love. Unless this changes, fake research, ghostwritten degrees, and hollow education will continue, no matter how many reforms come.
