I need to travel 1,400 miles round trip several times a year pulling a 14ft enclosed motorcycle trailer with 2 Harley-Davidson Street Glides and gear. What truck would perform better executing these trips? A Ford F150..Cybertruck..GMC 1500..Toy Tundra or Chevy EV Silverado @grok

Imagine thinking an average consumer trying to save a couple hundred bucks on gas will buy a $50,000 Tesla instead of a $25,000 new or used EV available from GM, Nissan, Hyundai today. $TSLA Bulls lack reasoning. That’s why they eat up Elon Musk’s shameless lies day in, day out.

Even if a Tesla had 500 miles of range, it wouldn’t change the trip much from LA to Yosemite, which is ~310 miles one way. There’s no way someone isn’t stopping at least once during the 5.5 hour journey. The Tesla with the longest range is the Model S AWD with 410 miles. During that one stop you are already taking during the 5.5 hour trip, the car charges, so you aren’t losing as much time as you think, if any. Plus, Yosemite offers many destination charging options, so your car can top off while you’re there, eliminating even more charging time. The biggest thing, @WilliamShatner, is that Tesla vehicles drive themselves. I’ve gone from Toronto to Austin, TX, without ever needing to touch the steering wheel. Over 3,500 miles total. Tesla Self-Driving handles charging and navigation, so you can just relax. The pros of road tripping in a Tesla far outweigh the cons. When you reach Yosemite, you’ll feel way more refreshed since you didn’t have to drive the whole way.

And for the #teslarites who don’t understand 500 miles. Time is money. How long does it take to pump a tank of gas? 4-5 mins versus 30. Early last week I went up to the Yosemite area (about 300 miles.) I got up there, did my thing and got gas (5 mins) and drove back. With a Tesla. It would be drive up (maybe on one charge) charge up 20-30 mins, do my thing. Drive back, stop along the way to recharge (again probably another 20 mins…) That’s too long. 500 would be one recharge so it’s 10 mins gas versus 29-30 mins which I would consider.🤷🏼

We – design the chips & hardware – make the cars w/ said hardware – collect real-world data at scale – train the real-world AI model – built (& continue to expand) the massive supercomputer cluster that trains it – deploy AI directly to millions of robots on wheels All that is shared with @Tesla_Optimus for broader applications in both the physical & digital world

Maybe Tesla can add a fitness mode to FSD: as we approach our vehicle it drives away from us, forcing us to chase it, getting some extra steps in for the day

I'm hoping that if my hypothesis is correct that they thought 14.2 would be good enough for unsupervised at scale but it wasn't, I'm hoping the delay between 14.2 and 14.3 is them just training the shit out of 14.3.. Getting it even better than it would have been just so it's ready and aligned with the cybercab.

The sad thing is a lot of people were given bad info about using this with a news 14-50 va getting a real charging station installed at their house. Those are a fire hazard as far as I’m concerned for home use. They work as they’re designed in a mobile situation in a pinch. Anyone that doesn’t have a wall connector in their garage permanently installed and owns a Tesla is a ▪️

Here's the Sentry Mode footage of 67-year old Karen Lewis vandalizing a Cybertruck with a board and nails. She then placed the board under the front tire, presumably hoping it would be driven over. She also placed an aluminum sign under another tire, because? She has since been arrested and charged with misdemeanor damage to property.

Carwow just released a new video to its 11 million YouTube subscribers titled: "Why Tesla Full Self Drive is Pointless!" @carwowuk misleads its viewers into thinking Tesla’s Autopilot is FSD, even though FSD hasn’t been approved in the UK yet. Autopilot isn’t meant for city driving, yet they test of bunch of scenarios that Autopilot wasn't built to do in the first place....
