A whole lot has changed since 2020.
Let me show you something.
Here is one of my campaigns from a different business.
It’s supposed to be a prospecting campaign that excludes purchases.
I used pixel data and lists to ensure exclusions were tight.
Meta said for where.
Retargeting was still happening. To my customers and even engaged audience.
It doesn’t make sense to create a seperate campaign unless you have a large pool to engage with, perhaps with a different type of content like social proof or more testimonials to build that trust and close the sale.
However with what andromeda is requesting, social proof and testimonials should already be part of the content mix in your campaign.
Meta will do what they like at the end of the day.
Yes retargeting drives cheaper results when isolated, but if the ads are already doing the retargeting it’s a waste of my money.
As long as my overall campaign is performing well, I will always prioritize consolidation and simplicity.

@olsenbdnr @Daevee007 "Rarely run retargeting ads unless" ... when i was doing fb ads before 2020, 90% of the total volume of sales were coming from retargeting :P

To create ads that convert, understand that:
1. Emotions are universal, so they cut through words and formats you create.
2. Know that people will remember only how you make them feel and forget what your creators actually said.
3. If you manage emotions, hey will see your product as the only solution, because you show that you understand their problem better than even themselves.
