I’ve been looking through my images from the 2018 @WONGRome Airshow and processing some that I had not previously processed. This F-22 pass had a great reflection that gave it a nice silver tone, so I decided to go for a darker moody process on this one. Major Paul "Loco" Lopez was the pilot representing the @F22DemoTeam.

Since the Wings Over North Georgia Airshow is returning this year with a great lineup, I decided to look over some images from past shows. This was from the 2018 show with the A-10 and F-22 demo teams in the U.S. Air Force Heritage Flight. I’m looking forward to the show coming up in October, this is one of my very favorite locations for shows, not only because it’s a local show for me, but also because the sun in behind you so the lighting is so much better than many shows where you are shooting directly at the sun.

Here’s another shot from the 2018 Wings Over North Georgia Airshow. I love the location for airshows because the light is behind you. You can really see a lot more detail when the light is reflecting off the subject back at you rather than creating shadows from back lighting. The full size version of this looks great on my 4K monitor. My favorite images I’ve ever taken of the R-22 Raptor are from this show. At the helm this day was Major Paul "Loco" Lopez from the 2018 F-22 Raptor Demo Team.
