@wydyama You are not a skilled enough driver to drive manual everyday?
Interesting.... very interesting..
English

There’s no way y’all like driving manual everyday

Hoops@Hoopss
What are you convinced people are just pretending to enjoy?
English
@NoContextHumans Car acted badly.
Cyclist acted dangerously after the fact and caused the collision.
If he hasn't got the ability to apply the brakes within THAT time frame (4? 5 seconds?), he shouldn't be using the bike.
Car = idiot also for cutting him up in first place.
Cyclist = mad idiot
English
@AmericanaMama_ Police officers, please stop going to work with the idea "someone shoots at me, you shoot them back". You are part of the _Problem_.
English
@Sassafrass_84 So, does this mean anyone with a roof is also "stealing" water?
Rain -> roof -> drain pipe -> ground -> lake.
Delays water for a few minutes.
Rain -> roof -> drain pipe -> barrel -> ground -> lake.
Delays water for a few days.
Same destination.
English
@rescuegirl022 @0015100a @22liv22 @Real_Ames I am guessing this is an American school? Don't worry, there are civilised countries who can trust kids to go to the toilet..
English

@0015100a @22liv22 @Real_Ames If the child wanders and is unaccounted for the school goes into a sort of lockdown until they find him
English
@Real_Ames In secondary school, a kid asked to go to the toilet, the teacher said no, so he stood up and peed in the corner of the room (all boys school).
The kid got in trouble for peeing in the corner of the room..
WHAT DID YOU THINK WAS GOING TO HAPPEN??
English
@Eatdirt13 @but_cyclists Wow, it's so cool that you instantly become a rally driver the moment you see an accident happen. I wish I was as cool as you.
English

@but_cyclists That was a really lame attempt at following / catching the car.
English
@Isaac2003_v2 I would meet in the middle on this..
Ground floor, Second floor, Third floor.
English

I hate to say it but the Americans are right on this one. Brits should get off our high horse for once and admit that sometimes, on rare occasions, our cousins across the pond are right
Yohei from Japan🇯🇵@learning_yohei
How do Americans and Brits meet in a building? Do they just wait on different floors forever? 😭
English
@Asriel_Torrien @frustineer @Ambar_SIFF_MRA Yes, I completely agree. But I had no idea I was "the bit on the side" until afterwards. Her friends thought it was hilarious the way I broke the chain of cheating.
Don't worry I eventually found a much higher caliber of lady
English

@WORMSStweet @frustineer @Ambar_SIFF_MRA If she’ll cheat on a guy for you, cheat on you with someone else.
English
@Josh_Dury I have just found out The Photography Show has changed your talk times.
I was coming tomorrow (Monday) to see your talk on astronomy and now I find out it was moved to today (Sunday) and Tuesday. I've already booked time off work now, too late to change. So sad.
English
@KaraBharat Ahh yes, I do remember them mentioning it now..
I think I got more hyped by `.getOrInsertComputed()` and forgot about it..
This was something I missed from the Java days.. I miss very little from the Java days, but this was definitely one of them.
English

@WORMSStweet Its coming in 6.0 RC

Temporal is now Stage 4 at TC39 🎂🎂🎂 Thanks to all the other champions of JavaScript's new date-time API. It has been a wild ride over many years! I wrote a blog post explaining how we got here 📜 🧵
English
@frustineer @Ambar_SIFF_MRA It was actually her friends who informed me of her serial-cheating because "I was the nice guy who didn't deserve it" (I guess compared to the other guys??) 10 years later, I ended up sat next to her at a concert. The world is too effing small.
English
@frustineer @Ambar_SIFF_MRA I had an ex who was a serial-cheater. She cheated on a guy with ME, we started going out, then cheated on me with the next. She actually came back to me, told her she has to stop dating the other guy first. She did.
I THEN told her I was already going out with someone else.
English
@AlJenko98 @EricJac49612546 @Boenau I keep thinking of replacing "licence suspended" to "licence needs renewing" so the person has to go through the WHOLE theory/practical test ALL OVER AGAIN.
With wait times and price of it all to get these tests done, it's higher price and longer suspension than any "fine".
English

@EricJac49612546 @Boenau Nope
The driver should get several severe fines for not stopping at a zebra crossing, and not stopping at a stop sign
Maybe he should have his licence suspended as well
English
@GaryQui05291363 @ThePhysicsMemes I NEED that label in my life!
English

@minirop @BBCBreakfast After 3 minutes of him checking, I was beginning to think that was what was happening..
I mean, I've had it before where an Amazon guy drove onto my drive way, and then waited a few mintues and they drive away. He came back 3 hours later, saying van was packed badly. Fair enough
English

'Minutes after this Natalie got an email saying 'Sorry we weren't able to deliver your parcel''
On #BBCBreakfast Peter Ruddick explained that a viewer has shared footage of a Royal Mail delivery not going as planned!

@ChromiumDev This would have been WAYYYY more useful 4 years ago..
