Please avoid the intersection of Post Road East and Morningside Drive while we investigate a motor vehicle accident with lane closures!!

Tomorrow, 5/31 we will be carrying the Flame of Hope in support of Special Olympics of Connecticut. @ 12:00 pm, Westport Police Officers will carry the torch along Route 1 and pass it off to Fairfield PD at the Fairfield Town Line.

(Westport, CT) On Sunday, May 19th, the Bloomin Metric Bicycle Tour will be in town from 8:00am to 2:00pm. Please be aware there will be significant amount of bicyclist on the road throughout town. Please use caution while traveling in Westport.

Crews continue their work on the bridge as officers direct traffic throughout the city. I95 remains closed in both directions and we are still experiencing heavy congestion in Norwalk. Commercial vehicles should use I-84 as an alternate route through CT. (1/2)

The Green's Farms Railroad Parking Lot #1 will be closed from Friday, April 21st at 7:00pm through Saturday, April 22 at 5:00pm for Household Hazardous Waste Day. Vehicles will be towed at the owner's expense.

Due to a motor vehicle accident involving utility pole and wires, Roseville Road is currently closed between salem and whitney.

The Westport Police Department extends its deepest condolences to the family, friends, and fellow officers of the two brave Bristol Police Officers who gave their lives in service to their community. We also hope that the injured officer makes a speedy and full recovery.
