The USA once shot down an Iran Air passenger plane, killing 290 civilians. The USA also once staged a coup in Iran to replace a popular leader with a monarch who would facilitate Western energy interests. It is comically inaccurate to call Iran the aggressor.

I am teaching a course to brilliant young women who are critical thinkers and who read. But the canadian education system continues to erase so much! At 21 or older, they have only first heard about the Oka crisis or the existence of slavery in Canada in the past two weeks.

Free advice to Zionists: if you want calm, then decolonize. No national community has ever consented to its own disappearance. Palestinians won't, either.

Our upcoming exhibit is New Fraktur by Meg Harder. Harder draws on fraktur folk art, an imaginative and densely detailed illuminated calligraphy, historically produced by early Mennonite settlers to Ontario. Join us on May 9 to learn more! bit.ly/2BliRPA

We are not usually very good at tweeting after an event. This one was special. Thank you to @FCStPauli416 for encouraging us to commemorate with a photo and for offering up the film. Really has us inspired as well!
