Hard on the heels of Carole’s coffee morning and the Ducksford (!) days, our Wings collecting this year has been prodigious for a virtual branch! Many thanks to the cadets, Ali & Pauline for scouring the RAFA closets with Wings Member Jane down south currently @RAFAssociation

The cadets organised the fund raiser themselves to help replace sqn laptops and tents, while doing so had a table of RAFA merchandise for sale, collecting money for Wings.

The Branch is delighted to advise that under the leadership of their Sqn Adjutant, our Treasurer Alison, 400 Birkenhead Sqn RAF Air Cadets have today raised over £200 for the Wings Appeal in the name of the WRAF Branch!

Our members paraded for Remembrance this year all around the UK from the very north and the "Best Kept War Memorial in Scotland" at Eday, Orkney to the National Service in London, Spain, Kenya and Canada. A time to gather, remember and reconnect.

@britishmemorial Incredibly proud our own, the late Michelle Ouzman who was part of the initial installation and discovery of 2 nurses who died on D Day who were included very late, all her work! Her own Giant now resides @SOFOtrust in everlasting memory. @RoyalAirForce @ChiefofAirStaff @amh68

Our own Michelle's magnificent silhouette has now been installed at @SOFOtrust with a plaque. Michelle discovered 2 nurses who passed away on D Day and instrumental in their inclusion in the at first installation in Normandy Please go and say hello to her - a giant among giants

Happy International Women’s Day! On 6th March, The Taxi Charity for Military Veterans returned to the RAF Club and held a very special event for veterans and serving personnel to mark International Women’s Day.
