the panel says the line gave rare insight into their relationship and suggests 40 may have been pushing Drake to stop dwelling on things & show more of himself
they interpret it less as disagreement and more as a real friend saying:
“you’re better than that… dig deeper.”
the panel also says leading with “Make Them Cry” first felt intentional because Drake wanted people to hear that side of him immediately
