OTD 1929 ✍️ 97 years ago, Wrexham signed Welsh centre forward Tommy Bamford from Bridgend Town. The 23yo would hit the ground running, scoring 6 goals in the final 7 games of the season. Tommy would eventually score 218 goals for us - a club record that may never be beaten.

It is a pleasure to welcome the Wrexham Supporters Trust to Hillsborough today. We’re hugely grateful to Wrexham supporters and the club for their solidarity, and for the generous donation they made to our cause when we were at our lowest.
