Superman 2025, if directed by Zack Snyder

So. You don’t like Superman reassuring someone he saves is okay? Ok…

Jessica Henwick reportedly turned down the role of Shang-Chi’s sister in hopes of returning to the MCU as Colleen Wing. (Source: The Hollywood Reporter) #JessicaHenwick #ShangChi #MCU #Marvel

Let's see: "James Gunn's Superman" begins right after his first major loss. "Supergirl" begins with her being depressed about losing her entire world. “Black Captain America” is “disappointed” with the country he’s named after. "Starfleet Academy" begins right after “The Burn” destroyed everything. "Daredevil: Born Again" begins with Foggy Nelson beinggetting murdered and Matt Murdock spiraling into depression. And the “Lanterns” trailer: Just two angry dudes bitching about their circumstances. "Joker: Folie à Deux" begins with Arthur Fleck institutionalized and completely broken. "The Mandalorian Season 3" starts with Din Djarin stripped of his identity and in disgrace. "Andor" begins with Cassian already cynical, angry, and on the run. Sensing a pattern yet? Hollywood doesn’t want you going awayhome HAPPY anymore. Every one of these could have started at a high point when the hero was strong, hopeful, and winning. Instead, they all open in darkness, grief, trauma, depression, or total collapse. AND THEY MEAN TO TRANSFER THIS MOOD ONTO YOU. They don’t want you having fun. They want you feeling as defeated as their characters are. 🖕 that noise, I'll just watch AND REWATCH all the good stuff they made before they went woke. Who's with me on that?

Anybody else feel kinda bad for the actor? I mean he could give the best acting performance of all time but the casting is just so bad that it won't matter at all lmao. It'd be like casting Al Pacino as MLK. Acting would probably be great but it's just not gonna work lol.

I’m gonna say it: they gotta find a person that’ll be able to write a black man and white man duo, without trying to make the white man feel superior. Every Heroes For Hire fans know what I’m talking about, btw.

putting down man of steel by nitpicking every cool moment saying "thats not very superman" is the only way to make james gunns childish movie look good theres a reason man of steel is the highest grossing solo superman movie in 4 decades and superman fans know and hate why

@benardonhard He didn't murder anyone

Quite possibly the most overrated comic book movie of all time. It fucking stinks

These types of posts against the newest Superman just comes off very performative and very artificial and trying to get attention and clicks.

Henry Cavill's Superman jumping over both planes if he was at 9/11:

I want y’all to really think about what they’re saying. They want to visibly see that a fucking parking garage of all places is empty during an ACTIVE alien attack. REALLY think about how ridiculous this sounds in the overall grand scheme of things.

Superman fans cheering “hope and optimism” while Superman beats the shit out of a confused enslaved clone with no concern about his life perfectly sums up the larping around this movie
