Our colors are red, white, blue... not only were tons of algae, goose poop, debris removed, and the bottom painted, leaks were repaired, and filtration improved. Hopefully that takes care of the algae issue and maybe even the poop issue? Just because your house will get dirty again you don't bother to clean it?

To haul off the tons of goose poop. Algae, and debris, clean, and paint. That estimate didn't include repairing the leaks they discovered or upgrading filtration to prevent future algae blooms. Anyone who's ever done renovations of something over 100 years old expects surprises as they proceed with the work.

I cannot thank you enough for posting this, I am absolutely shocked that this building exists - Trump KNOWS it exists and has used it, it's less than a mile away from the WH as you say, and it has an enormous ballroom area that can seat as many as Trump proposes. It is only about 100 years old, is owned by the US Govt, and is used for many functions, including Presidential functions and has been used by TRUMP HIMSELF. I am absolutely spitting with rage that this....person....tore down half the White House to build something that already exists - if they want to make it more secure - MODIFY THE EXISTING MELLON BUILDING. What they REALLY want here is a giant Israeli designed AI data center underground with hospital facilities so Trump doesn't have to keep flying his ragged ass over to Walter Reed so often....he can stay underground and hide from whatever actions he's contemplating. And maybe Congress thinks it can hide down there with him. But this ballroom project MUST BE STOPPED. Everyone has to write to their Congress people, write to any media people and we have to get this STOPPED. This is enormous waste and a destruction of our national history, and the POTUS should not be protected from the folly of his OWN ACTIONS while the People are at risk. Perhaps you don't understand the role of the Supreme Court? Their role is to determine the constitutionality of actions and/or laws passed by government. If anything it gives grounds to remove the Democrat government majority in VA.
