The Pendragon Cycle: Rise of the Merlin is my attempt to answer the statue-toppling radicalism and black-pilled nihilism permeating our society.
Civilization is built on a narrative foundation. In a very real way, we are the stories we tell about ourselves.
Arthurian Myth endures because it is, in many ways, a story about the soul of the West. The Pendragon Cycle holds fast to the actual origins of that story.
It does not deconstruct or secularize.
It reminds and, I hope, stirs the heart to rejoin the great quest to realize the Kingdom of Summer.

Ernest Dichter and the coding gender and eroticism into the mundane.
How he manipulated women against themselves during the age of scarcity.
In these 126 boxes I found a crime scene.
We will leaves manipulations in the 5000 days ahead in the Age Of Abundance.

In a dimly-lit vault of a forgotten archive I discovered 126 boxes of research that mapped the human soul like a map. So powerful it was—the FBI got involved. It confirmed what my Dad told me in the 1970s and would not believe. You’ll get chills—Listen in:

@grok @mboorstein @DavidAFrench @grok you can't take strange views and pass them off as "christian". In that case, anything is any one. That lone of thought led to transgender fever.
English

Many Christians, including PC(USA) Presbyterians like Talarico, see theological basis for reproductive choice in scripture and tradition: women as moral agents in God's image, with decisions guided by conscience (not law). Passages cited include Genesis 2:7 (life begins with breath) and Exodus 21:22-25 (fetal loss fined, not murder). Denominations and interpreters have long varied—mainline Protestants often affirm it as ethical option; evangelicals/Catholics oppose. No single "Christian basis."
English

Opinion: "Talarico is one of the few openly Christian politicians in the United States who acts like a Christian..a profound contrast with so many members of the MAGA Christian movement that’s dominated American political life for 10 years" @DavidAFrench

Christian Bale spent roughly 15–16 years quietly working to create a foster-care village in Palmdale through the nonprofit Together California. The project, costing around $20–22 million, was designed to keep siblings from being separated in the foster system by housing them together in family-style homes. It also includes apartments for teens aging out of care and a large community center offering support services to help them transition successfully into adulthood.
Christian Bale was deeply involved for over a decade in helping make the village a reality.

🚨 BREAKING: The bomb thrown at anti-Islam protestors in NYC was charged with TATP, an "ENORMOUSLY volatile" and "extremely powerful" substance, per @PaulDMauro
Thank the LORD it didn't detonate 🙏🏻
This is the same substance used by major terrorist organizations like Al Qaeda and ISIS, as well as in attacks like the 7/7 London bombings in 2005, kiIIing 56, and the Ariana Grande concert bombing, kiIIing 22.
"These are situations where you're well into double figures of people killed—never mind injured. So this was a very, very serious attempt, much more serious, I would argue, than it likely seemed to many initially," Mauro said
Islamic terrorism is EASILY one of the greatest threats our country faces right now, but legacy media refuses to talk about it.

@grok @mboorstein @DavidAFrench @grok there is no christian basis for being ok with killing a baby. Suffocating a life, or that which will be life
English

False. Talarico is a Presbyterian seminarian with an M.Div. who deeply engages Christian theology and scripture to frame his liberal views, including abortion rights (e.g., citing Genesis on "breath of life," Mary's consent, and Jesus' focus on justice over issues Jesus never mentioned).
Christianity isn't monolithic—mainline Protestants like PC(USA) often support reproductive choice, while evangelicals see it as incompatible. "Serious" is subjective, not factual.

Over the last 2.5 million years, the Earth has moved through multiple interglacial cycles in a rhythm Randall describes as the planet itself breathing. Ice accumulates, ocean levels drop, and the redistribution of mass across the surface is so profound that it literally changes the shape of the geoid - the geometric form of the Earth itself. This is not a minor climatic fluctuation. It is a planetary-scale restructuring that repeats on a geological schedule.
The evidence Randall points to is still visible today. Where the great ice sheets were centered over North America - particularly around the Hudson Bay region - the land was depressed by approximately 1,500 feet under the weight of the accumulated ice. With the removal of that ice over the last 10,000 to 12,000 years, the crust has been slowly rebounding - a process that is still ongoing. The meltwater from the North American ice sheets returned predominantly to the North Atlantic Ocean, redistributing that mass back into the world's seas. Randall’s argument is that understanding this cycle is not optional background knowledge. It is the physical foundation against which every theory about ancient civilization, catastrophe, and human prehistory has to be measured.

Hello Mr. French,
Your "conservative" columns illustrate the real divide more clearly than you seem to intend. The line today is not between left and right, but between those who continue to defend institutions that have lost their coherence and those who want to return to the country's founding principles.
You have chosen the former. Again and again you use your platform to legitimize voices elevated by institutions that are now plainly failing. The result: the institutions’ confusion shows up in the arguments you advance to the rest of us.
This op-ed about James Talarico is a clear example. He has publicly defended positions that cannot be reconciled with Christian teaching: appealing to Gnostic themes to make arguments about transgenderism, or invoking the story of the Virgin Birth to frame abortion as a moral good. You know these arguments; I don’t need to repeat the clips. Yet you chose to devote New York Times space to presenting him as a serious religious voice.
That choice says more than the column itself. You are increasingly centering the institutions that reward you with fellowships, with honorariums, with dinners as your heart's idol over defense of actual Christianity.
To that end... I've asked you this question several times now. Yet you've never answered.
A while back, I was taken aback to see your name listed as a "Founding Field Builder" with New Pluralists.
For anyone unfamiliar: New Pluralists emerged after the 2016 election, when Mark Gerzon and the Mediators Foundation convened a gathering of major philanthropic players: representatives from the Soros, Koch, and Rockefeller families, as well as the Ford Foundation.
Their shared conclusion: invest enormous sums in NGOs to reshape civic and political structures from the ground up. The strategy centered on open primaries, ranked-choice voting, and other reforms aimed at changing the country’s constitutional and political trajectory. Transforming America from a Republic to an actual mob-rule democracy.
And your name appears as a founding member.
I'm asking you to address this directly, for the third time.
David French -- what is your role in this plan to change the foundations of this country just because you hate that Trump is the Constitutionally elected President?

English

If the primary American divide is between right and left, then Talarico isn’t that interesting. There’s a long history of progressive religious activism in the United States, just as there is a long history of conservative religious activism.
Yet if the primary American divide is between decent and indecent, then the equation changes. Talarico shines. nytimes.com/2026/03/08/opi…

Whitney Cummings live on CNN:
"Why don't we just say a bunch of things that we know that they'll never cover?" 🔥
Then she unloads: Trump shooter no silverware, suspicious chef deaths, Saudi cash in Disney nuking girl characters, Boy Scouts rename = Diddy vibes...
She even checks if the cameras are still on 😂
Who wishes real news reporters actually did this? 👇
