@four4thefire Yep, 6th grade... rolled the tv in... we had workbooks on space all week and saw a taped interview for schools with Christa McAuliffe, but the launch was def live.

This is nonsense. It was hyped up to ever kid in America at a time where watching TV at achool was rare. We had a snow day after that hype, we only got 2 channels, and I still saw it live.

@wvEsquiress Last Lowes contracted installer I was assigned used a brick from my yard to balance a dish washing unit and during its first cycle it blew its fuse and the main breaker because he didn't ground it correctly.

Lack of communication from the installer has been 75% of the issues. A simple call, even a text, to say he can’t make it would have gone a long way. Yes, we would’ve been annoyed at the delay, but not nearly as angry as the ghosting has made us. And it’s not like the guy didn’t know we wanted to hear from him. My husband very firmly told him after the first no-call no-show that we expect better. And he pointedly ignored our calls and texts TO HIM asking what was going on. It’s beyond simple negligence.

Update to the Update: Never saw or heard from the guy. We talked to Lowe’s again and then got a call from the owner of the fencing company. Using a metaphor about putting a donkey in to run a horse race, he says the guy said his trailer broke down or something and that he will discuss the importance of communication with him. He says he’s sending us gift cards? For what, I don’t know. Anyway, Lowe’s now says they’ll deliver the materials tomorrow and fence guy says someone will be here on Friday. We say Friday or not at all. I’m so sick of this.
