I would note again that Ukrainians abroad are not burning down Russian cultural centers or Russian schools worldwide. Even though they certainly have plenty of reasons to do so.
But “anti-Zionists” (sic!) burning ambulances in London just because they have a Star of David on it – that’s always on the table.
That’s why I don’t believe in any “anti-Zionism.” It’s simply antisemitism that has once again become acceptable.
I myself, to put it mildly, am not thrilled with Israel’s policies in recent times. And many people aren’t thrilled with U.S. policies either. So what – are people burning anything American in Europe? Not really.

Nic z systemu punktowego nie wyniknie dopóki nie będzie w sektorze nauki wynagrodzeń jakkolwiek porównywalnych do średniej UE. Tego się nie da zrobić bez zwiększenia nakładów i zmian instytucjonalnych.
Tymczasem minister nauki jest na etapie mówienia że serce nauki bije w Płocku.

What I find most jarring about the Western anti-imperialist left is that there’s this unspoken racism embedded in everything they do. From Syria, Venezuela, Iran, and now Cuba.
Unlike the far-right, where racism is unapologetic, this version operates within a framework that assumes the people they claim to defend are somehow primitive.
To the Western leftist, the local, native, or diaspora is seen as inferior in their intellectual understanding of politics and even their own countries realities.
Because of this, these anti imperialists leftist easily justify their warped behavior of indulging in luxury regime sponsored trips, carrying water for despots and ultimately silencing victims.

Back in my day, being a liberal meant:
- Do you and we won't judge (be gay, be black, be Jewish, whatever, do you)
- Crime is bad. Believing criminals should go to jail and are accountable for their own actions (because society needs safety). Families in particular need safe communities. And safe communities help poor Americans up level their life.
- Business is good! Growing business funds social programs. Pro business! We loved growth. We loved American companies who succeeded, because that helps grow future tax revenue. We believed the pie gets bigger.
- America, while flawed, is awesome. We still loved America and wanted to win.
- Legal immigration is a great thing. Brings smart people to America. Do more of this. More smart people, legally coming here.
- Illegal immigration is not a great thing, because illegal immigrants aren't paying taxes but pull on benefits...this harms the average American who relies on some budget discipline to afford social programs for citizens.
We are now politically homeless. It's sad.

@KapitanSlonik Nie no, jasne, ale czynnik „czasów” też ma sporo do rzeczy - mainstreamowe kino lat 70. dzisiaj byłoby zaklasyfikowane jako arthouse (nie całe, ale pewna część).
