@atensnut@HenryLindeman9 Weird. Campus cops in red states haven’t prevented a school shooting. In Uvalde, they hung out outside. Blue states’ schools are better funded; and have less shootings. Just facts.
@HenryLindeman9 You didn’t read the study, did you? Do you know how to interpret a peer reviewed research paper? The conclusion isn’t what you think it is. Not by a longshot. 🤣
Ron DeSantis won the night!
He is the proven leader who will reverse America’s decline.
We’re not getting a mulligan on 2024, he will get the job done, no excuses!
@madelineefry $700 is the limit the executive branch can authorize w/o congressional authorization. The GOP vowed to shoot down any additional funds; yet bipartisan support for Ukraine billions. (Which requires congressional support)
@latimes There are very very few true locals; most sold out to wealthy Bay Area folks who wanted a vacation/Covid residence. For 30+ yrs, Locals have sold out and moved out to NV and smaller towns in the sierras.

JUST IN: The Biden Department of 'Justice' is suing Elon Musk's SpaceX for refusing to hire refugees and asylum seekers.
Musk should change his name to Hunter Biden and coerce foreign entities to get rich so the DOJ ignores him.
“The lawsuit alleges that, from at least September 2018 to May 2022, SpaceX routinely discouraged asylees and refugees from applying and refused to hire or consider them, because of their citizenship status, in violation of the Immigration and Nationality Act,” the Justice Department said.
“Our investigation found that SpaceX failed to fairly consider or hire asylees and refugees because of their citizenship status and imposed what amounted to a ban on their hire regardless of their qualification, in violation of federal law,” US Assistant Attorney General Kristen Clarke said.
Our selective justice system strikes again.
Biden’s DOJ is now going after Elon Musk, too.
At this point it’s very clear - if you’re a prominent person who is pushing against the mainstream narratives, Biden will use the government to go after you.
This isn’t the America we grew up in!
@amuse@elonmusk Immigrants benefit America more than the conservative white citizen. More educated. More willing to work. More knowledge. 400% more likely to start a business. The majority of welfare recipients are poverty-stricken non-Hispanic white conservatives. Fact.
WEAPONIZATION: President Biden is suing @elonmusk’s SpaceX for only hiring citizens and lawful residents to build advanced rockets. The DOJ argues that Elon MUST hire illegals to build his fleet of rockets. What do you think? nypost.com/2023/08/24/elo…
@ladidaix@PopBase Why are you trying to tell parents what to do. Festivals always have some random parents bringing their kids/toddlers/etc. Festivals. Days long. Not one performance; but dozens. Chill.
Breaking: Putin is rushing to Kremlin, there is high alert in Russia right now as Wagner are moving back to Russia having lost their head.

@aditya_baradwaj All of your org knew…openly bragging about it at bars and events on the island. Wait til hospitality staff debunk your victim mentality.
As an engineer at Alameda Research, I had my entire life savings stolen from me by my former boss: Sam Bankman-Fried.
Now, after months of recuperation from the craziness of the FTX collapse, I’m ready to tell my story.
Let’s start at the beginning:

To all of the people who are somehow blaming Joe Biden for the fact that FEMA workers are staying in $531-$1000/night hotels, while Hawaiians are only getting $700, please take a moment.
If you are going to hold Biden responsible for all of FEMA's actions, yet blame Democrats for the DOJ and FBI’s actions while Trump was President, you are being hypocritical.
If you are going to be mad that FEMA under Biden spent $500+ on hotels, yet you are perfectly fine that Trump charged Secret Service members and government aides $650/night to stay at his own properties, then you are also being hypocritical.
Here’s some pertinent information.
- FEMA Critical Needs Assistance is maxed out at $700. Individuals can apply for more assistant on top of this, but the instant assistance is limited. The president doesn’t create these maximums on the fly.
- FEMA employees are literally putting their lives in danger in many cases working to help bring supplies, care, and medical assistance to people in need. They are doing so, by flying thousands of miles away from their family to do their jobs. Their jobs provide them with government benefits, such as healthcare, 401Ks, and lodging when they are working.
- The amount of decent hotels that are safe, operational, and close enough to the vicinity that care is needed in is extremely limited. Yes, there are cheaper hotels available and some that are even closer, but there likely are not large enough hotels to accommodate the approximate 1000 workers that need lodging.
- Bureaucratic spending is not perfect, and surely there was probably better options, if you want to nitpick the decisions, but to blame this on the President of the United States is absurd.
- Stop with the finger pointing at every opportunity and let's all do our best to try and help these Hawaiians.
How is Biden able to defy the Supreme Court and assume Article I powers in slashing student loan obligations, yet he is only able to help Hawaiians with $700 a person? The answer is votes. Biden and his regime are a disgrace.
