Steve-O reveals the one stunt the entire Jackass cast refused to do “When we were shooting Jackass 3D we went up to Northern California to film a bunch of snow stunts, and they had a big bounce house on a ski slope headed for this Olympic ski jump, and the idea was to have the whole cast in it” “Even though we hated the idea of our heads clashing together in the bounce house, we probably still would have done it, except for the fact that there was a huge generator which kept the bounce house inflated which would have to follow behind it, and the thing was 500 pounds” “We just were not willing to have that generator land on us and crush us to death, so the whole cast backed out, maybe the first time the whole cast backed out of a stunt ever”

Ulysses S. Grant was born Hiram Ulysses Grant When the congressman nominating him to West Point sat down to fill out the paperwork, he botched it. He figured the boy's middle name must be Simpson, his mother's maiden name, and wrote down Ulysses S. Grant. Grant simply accepted a name and a middle initial that stood for nothing. His classmates noticed those new initials spelled out U.S., started calling him Uncle Sam. Two decades later the same letters earned him the nickname that stuck for good. After he demanded the immediate capitulation of a Confederate fort, the papers turned U.S. Grant into Unconditional Surrender Grant. A clerk's mistake became the most famous initials of the war and a name that every American remembers.
