Happy St. David’s Day / Dydd Gŵyl Dewi Hapus on Wales national day of celebration. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 Last night I was lucky enough to celebrate with U.S. Ambassador to the United Kingdom Jane Hartley at the US residence in London, Winfield House. Lovely to see so many friends there including the formidable @craig4monty. Great to finally meet Welsh entrepreneur @jessleighjones1 and thanks to Cheryl Dennis and @walesweeklondon for a lovely event. I’m so proud of the work we’ve done over the past decade in America to promote and elevate Wales on the global stage with opening and closing bells at both the @NYSE and @Nasdaq to showcase our amazing country. @NewYorkWelsh continues to help our Welsh #diaspora in New York City and around the United States, with an organization to be proud of, with over 2,000 expats, and a home at @TheLibertyNYC in Manhattan, meanwhile back at home we continue to help US business find a home in the UK and champion grassroots inclusive sport where we’ve helped fund over 1,000 women, girls and people with disabilities get access to football and rugby kits in Pembrokeshire, Monmouthshire, Carmarthenshire, and #Wrexham to name a few Say S’mae (how are things) to someone today, wear a daffodil 🌼 (one of Wales national emblems) or raise a glass 🥂and say Iechyd Da (good health) and have a glorious St David’s Day. #StDavidsDay 🗽🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🇺🇸
