On Thursday after work, we're celebrating the opening of Deansgate with a celebration ride. Come along and cycle Deansgate to Chorlton on protected cycle lanes for the first time 🚲

This evening there is a @WalkRideGM trip out from town using the new Deansgate and Bridgewater Viaduct cycle lanes (which link up with others all the way to Chorlton!) 17.45 start.

Planting on the Deansgate rain gardens starts next week. This will triple the amount of rain gardens in the ward, creating green spaces and sustainable ways to manage water drainage. All very important considering the challenges we are facing with climate change.
