Culter’s OM here. Sadly the day after this picture - last Monday - we noticed him slowing down on a morning walk. The vet found more fluid around his heart and in his abdomen. Today the vet drained it. We pick him up later. 🤞🤞for more #QDs

I've seen how friendly Amanda is with the humans but I'm not like her. I keep my distance from most of them. Most of them......apart from Andy. 🚨Code red: The moose-calf formerly known as Kenji has cracked the obedience code. Weaving cones like he's dodging my 'that's MY toy' glares, holding rock-solid sits and downs while the human spins the power wheelchair around like she's go-cart racing—no wobble, no 'oops my moose legs are too long' tumble. Hind-end maneuvering? He's swinging that caboose like it's got its own postal code. He can actually do all of the nervous rally obedience maneuvers! Fronts crisp enough to iron clothes on, finishes left and right like he's showing off for the Instagram algorithm. The giant-pawed disaster is...actually pulling it off. He could be ready for trials soon. We just have to teach his ego that every human and dog in the building isn't there just to meet him. And don't get me started on the tail propaganda. Every time he nails something, that propeller tail starts wagging at warp speed—basically semaphore for 'LOOK AT ME CHESNYY I CAN DO THIS TOO! SEE? SEE?!' Like I could miss a 59-lb moose body flailing its dinner-plate paws and helicopter tail in victory laps. Kid's got the subtlety of a freight train doing cartwheels. 🎥 payoff: Kenji doing stuff almost well. Me heeling like the pro I was born to be, his leash in my mouth because Wrangler of the Walking Moose is my eternal curse. Then we both launch the paw-pile attack on the human's lap—hugs, kisses, slobber galore. I'm gonna have to keep on eye on that kid. He thinks his giant paws are the golden ticket to unlimited lap time. (They kinda are. Those things double as oven mitts and battering rams.) I'm not tearing up over his progress. That's just windburn from all the tail-wag turbulence. Still not impressed. Fine, 0.0002%.
