@WendyJo814 @jasarielm Grass isn’t greener on the other side. I was diagnosed as a teenager. All they do is put you on birth control and tell you not to worry about it until you want kids. Then when you want kids they just tell you to loose weight.

@jasarielm After over 20 years of doctors I was finally diagnosed with PCOS about 2 years ago. I am 50 now so the dream of having a baby is gone. I get so mad when I think about if a Dr would have taken me seriously and actually diagnosed me sooner. Such a heartbreak. I understand. ❤️

I actually get why RFK is how he is. Imagine how paranoid he must have been growing up. Assassins killed 2 of his family members under unclear circumstances. From a monied and powerful family, never knew who his real friends were and who just sought favors

@shenetworks My favorite story like this was a guy who worked for IBM. Took early retirement and joined a startup that was bought by IBM. He got his seniority back and again offered early retirement. He took that, joined a third company, they got bought, he left with three full pensions.

When I was at Cisco, this guy had been with the company for 20+ years and had been laid off, IIRC, 5 times. He'd take the severance every time, then just apply for another team and come back. So man was basically getting paid vacations

So, on August 14th Cisco announces that they’re going to be doing layoffs, but people won’t be notified until September 16th. I truly feel for the Cisco folks that are being forced to live with that anxiety…for over a month. This is not the way to do layoffs. Unacceptable.

@sorenable never had a cat either, so I really don't know. I've lived alone with no animals so I think a cat and it's sneaky sleuthing and independence would catch me off guard too much and make me jumpy.
