BREAKING. Israel is blowing up entire civilian homes in Naqoura, South Lebanon right now. Civilian homes. No military target. No justification. Just pure terror and destruction. This is a war crime in broad daylight. And the world watches in silence.

I do not rule out that Russia has secretly supplied Iran with new air defense systems to replace those destroyed in the early days of the war. Reports that Russia is sharing intelligence with Iran and supplying it with drones and components have been confirmed.

As we wake up this weekend let’s remember that there is an American servicemember who might have survived a jet crash and spent all night alone hiding from Iranian forces searching for him. We must do all we can to rescue him.

Terrifying reality check. Al Jazeera confirms the Pentagon is systematically annihilating Iran's civilian infrastructure. 760 schools, 350 health centers, and a century-old vaccine hub have been bombed. The Trump administration is openly committing massive war crimes!

ZELENSKYY: Russia started war, committed war crimes, occupied part of our country. It's not just land — it's homes, people's lives. They stole childhood from our children. That's why, when we are asked what compromises we are ready to make, it sounds UNBELIEVABLY STRANGE to us.

Tennessee gave $65 million to Oracle to create jobs— guess we should have specified they be jobs for Americans🫤 Trump’s buddy Ellison is firing Americans and replacing them with foreign workers. (And now owns TikTok, CBS, CNN, etc) Watch oligarchy work. nationaltoday.com/us/tx/austin/n…

"Nineteen minutes long, that address was from the White House. It really was basically a 19-minute-long Truth Social post instead of a meaningful strategy for why [Trump has] taken such a consequential decision that has plunged the global economy into turmoil," said @sbg1.

Before Easter, Ukrainians decorate pysanky - traditional Easter eggs that are carefully hand-decorated using wax and dyes, often featuring symbolic patterns and colors that carry deep cultural meanings. This tradition is over 1,000 years old, dating back to pre-Christian times and later becoming an important part of Easter celebrations. My grandmother used to make them, my mother did too, and now my daughter and wife continue the tradition. By the way, I also tried it, but it doesn’t look as beautiful. What Easter traditions do you have in your country? Do you decorate eggs like this? 📹 pysanka. art/Instagram, oksana_rybaruk/TikTok

Florence was the original skunkworks: Botticelli, Lippi, Leonardo, Ghirlandaio, Donatello, Verrocchio, Perugino, Raphael. All products of the same 2.4-square-mile lab. In the 1470s Florence had 21 guilds regulating quality, controlling market entry, and running formal apprenticeship pipelines. Kids started at age 12, grinding pigments imported from Afghanistan, preparing wooden panels, and casting bronze. Verrocchio's workshop doubled as goldsmith, sculptor's studio, and engineering lab. This system produced polymaths like Michelangelo, who painted the Sistine ceiling, sculpted the David, and designed the dome of St. Peter's. Florence housed the largest bank in Europe: Banco dei Medici. It funded the masters, but more importantly? It funded the infrastructure that produced them. 40,000 people, 54 stone-carving studios, 84 woodcarving shops, and 270 wool mills behind the same city walls. A small genius factory you could walk end to end in under 20 minutes. How will we build this again?

🙏 Pope personally carried the cross along the entire Way of the Cross at the Colosseum — for the first time in decades Leo XIV walked all 14 stations along the slopes of the Esquiline Hill — something that hasn’t happened since 1994. Around 30,000 people joined the procession, while millions followed the ceremony online. Today, Catholics observe Holy Saturday — one of the most powerful and symbolic days of the year, the quietest day before Easter.

As we wait to hear the fate of the remaining American airman downed in Iran, thinking this morning of Yeats’ astonishing poem on this theme: I know that I shall meet my fate Somewhere among the clouds above; Those that I fight I do not hate, Those that I guard I do not love; My country is Kiltartan Cross, My countrymen Kiltartan’s poor, No likely end could bring them loss Or leave them happier than before. Nor law, nor duty bade me fight, Nor public men, nor cheering crowds, A lonely impulse of delight Drove to this tumult in the clouds; I balanced all, brought all to mind, The years to come seemed waste of breath, A waste of breath the years behind In balance with this life, this death.

The number of people injured in a Russian FPV drone attack on the market in Nikopol has risen to 27, the Dnipropetrovsk regional military administration said. "Why does Russia strike the Nikopol market on a Saturday morning? Because it knows civilians are there. An FPV drone is not a missile flying somewhere toward a city. The operator sees the target on the screen. Sees the stalls. Sees people. And presses the button. Their goal is to make people leave. To empty the frontline city. So there's no one left to work, trade, or hold the rear. They can't advance in this direction with troops, so they're 'squeezing out' civilians through terror," Mykola Lukashuk @LukashukMykola, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Council. 📹: bbc_ua

Russia has attacked Nikopol with FPV drones: five people killed, 19 more injured, a 14 year old girl among them. She is in critical condition. Shops were damaged and destroyed.

The White House issued a lid at 11 AM today. Trump will make no public appearances. No Mar-a-Lago. No golf. No press. Rumors spread that he was at Walter Reed. Freelance journalist Andrew Leyden drove there at 1:50 PM and posted photos. No Marine One. No motorcade. Roads open. Trump is not at Walter Reed. So where is he?

The United States is now pulling its China contingency weapons to sustain a war that was supposed to last four to six weeks. JASSM-ER. The long-range stealth cruise missile Washington reserved specifically for a Taiwan Strait scenario. $1.5 million per missile. Pacific stockpiles ordered pulled at the end of March. Now being moved to CENTCOM bases and RAF Fairford in the UK. 912 were already fired in the first 16 days alone. This is not a resupply. This is a reallocation. The weapons deterring Chinese military action against Taiwan are being consumed in a war Trump said would be over in weeks, against a country he has declared decimated twelve times, whose coastal defense missiles keeping Hormuz closed are confirmed 50 percent intact by US intelligence. Beijing is watching every transfer manifest. China’s strategists spent 35 days taking notes on Arrow depletion, ATACMS exhaustion, E-3 AWACS vulnerability, F-15 shootdowns, and rescue helicopter engagements over Iranian territory. Now they are watching the Pacific deterrent get shipped to the Middle East. Ghalibaf asked what share of global trade transits Bab el-Mandeb. China just got a more important answer to a different question. What does American deterrence in the Pacific look like when the JASSM-ER stockpile is in Khuzestan Province? The answer to that question may define the next decade of global security.
