I’ve been going on with life as usual since 2017 never knowing that I’d hurt @R_Mendenhall, never knowing how my words poured salt into an already painful wound. Today Rashard told me how my comments about his Super Bowl 45 play crushed him. So many of us never get an opportunity to look into the eyes with people we harm, & even less are given the chance to recognize there wrongs. Thankfully, Rashard gave me that chance. I saw the pain in his eyes, felt the hurt in his words, & appreciated the grace it which he told me. Again, I’m sorry brother. I never should have cut you. I never should have empowered others to do the same.
