How is MHA "victim blaming"? My Hero Academia is mostly a story about how a comfortable society ignores victims because "The heroes have solved it", which leads to the creation of monsters. Endeavor's obsession with surpassing All Might led to Touya's accident at Sekoto Peak and the creation of Dabi, because when he returned home, "Nothing had changed." Toga's abuse and a system that shuts down people by saying "Just be normal" made Toga have a mental breakdown, which led her to become an outcast and a mass murderer. Shigaraki, even though he was manipulated, ultimately became a villain because AFO trusted that no one would ever reach out to help Tenko, not even ask him if he was okay. Spinner, Compress, Stain, HELL, even Overhaul and All For One are all, in a way, victims of a society that doesn't care, and at no moment are their feelings invalidated. BUT all of them still choose to do evil. They still choose to damage, manipulate and kill innocent people, and the story, over and over again, makes the point that even if they are victims, it doesn't justify any of their actions. What the world of MHA needed was more people to "reach out". They needed people to move, to act, to extend their hand to others to avoid more people like the League of Villains being born. #MHA
