The challenge system makes no sense. If it corrects bad calls on a select few pitches that are challenged why not let it make the correct call on every pitch? Save time & make the game fair. A great pitch that barely touches the strike zone will get the call without a challenge.

Any close 3-2 call should get ABS challenged... the payoff is that high There's also almost no time used up either, since the batter is walking away in any case

I put the situation to ChatGPT: The runner is out. The strikeout nullifies the walk, the runner is not forced to advance, and the tag before reaching second base stands. When replay changes a call, the play is reconstructed as if the correct call had been made originally.

I am starting to suspect that the story about Jose Medina is worse than what we've been told. The "tuberculosis" isolation keeping him out of court is suspicious--and this photo (if it's him) could raise the possibility Sheridan's execution was part of a gang initiation.
