If One Piece is gonna insist on making Toon Force gags then they need to study how Jujutsu Kaisen executed Takaba's Comedian cursed technique. Looking at the state of Gear 5 trying to be funny made me cringe a little. Then again One Piece's target demographic is younger.

Comics are not storyboards. Filmmakers/story artists can certainly take inspiration from the original material, but the medium itself isn't a straight transfer. There are things unique to each medium which are specific to said mediums.
