We are currently using too much of Thompson Reuters - and we are looking for something new. We like UltraTax, Engagement Manager and Fixed AssetsCS - everything else could be changed.
What are other people using? Our biggest concerns are having something that allows an e-signature, plays at least decently with UT and has a friendlier portal.

For the love of everything holy can we please standardize information reporting forms?
Why does one brokerage 1099 look entirely different from any other? Why are American Funds 1099-Rs the way they are? Seriously, mortgage lenders: USE THE SAME 1098. I can't even with W-2s.

Solo operators:
If you make an S-election on your SMLLC, be sure to submit new W-9 forms to your vendors ASAP!
This prevents 1099-NEC mismatches and jumping through unnecessary hoops on your tax returns.

WTF. CNN just put out a direct HIT PIECE on White Christians. They’re working on a project warning about “Christian nationalism,” portraying it as a threat to the country. “An ideology rooted in the belief that the country is a Christian nation.”

It’s not Christian Nationalism. It’s recognizing that the founding principles of the USA are grounded in Biblical truth, and the empirical evidence supports that following Biblical principles leads to a thriving and prosperous nation. It also recognizes that citizens must be self governing in order for our system to work properly.
