@WarDamnJosh Auburn is in the state of Alabama and you are talking abt rent free
Nice campus tbh that’s the only thing I’ll give Auburn. That and the rec center
English

@NickyPerkss Yeah man. Some teams know how to get the job done and win.
English

@WarDamnJosh Impressive. You know outside of that being a completely different team. But hell yeah man
English

@KevinScarbinsky Bama might’ve beat Michigan if Oats wasn’t too busy screwing around cheating on his wife

@crainandcone @Blain_Crain @JakeCrain_ @davidadamcone @AuburnOn3 These guys are pretty retarded. 69th best team but 34th NET….Auburn should’ve been in the tournament over Miami OH and SMU. We could’ve been in the sweet 16. We just showed everyone that by winning the NIT (something bammers have never done)
English

“You’re the 69th best team in the country? Congrats!” - @Blain_Crain
Would you rather see your team get bounced in the first weekend of the NCAA Tournament, or go on to win the NIT?
Jake “JBOY” Crain@JakeCrain_
I don’t know how to feel about winning the NIT to be honest. How should I feel?
English

@crainandcone @Blain_Crain @JakeCrain_ @davidadamcone @AuburnOn3 It just shows that we should’ve been in the tournament. Saying we are the 69th best team is absurd. Who knows we could’ve made it to the sweet 16
English

@theblockspot So the idiots out there are saying this…I rather be a 1 seed in the NCAA tournament and lose to a 16 seed rather than winning the NIT😂😂
English

@NickyPerkss So if you’re a 1 seed in NCAA tournament and you lose to a 16 seed, you’re saying that’s better than winning the NIT?
English

Age old question, but in all seriousness, it comes down to whether or not the L in the tournament was an upset or not
Losing to YALE sucks way worse than winning the NIT. But making it as an 11 seed and losing is somehow better than winning NIT
Idk how to explain it
Sam Block@theblockspot
Auburn just won the NIT. Would you rather: • Win the NIT • L in the 1st Round of March Madness
English

@BurnerLJohnson 😂😂😂 holy shit. I thought Bama fans were dumb but this comment, I don’t even know what to say.
English

I realize you probably haven’t watched basketball for very long but losing in the 1st round of The NCAA Tournament is better than winning The NIT.
Brennen@cAUwcollege
@BurnerLJohnson 😂 getting stomped is now better than winning? 😂 bless your poor inbred self

Steven Pearl is an NIT champion. A new banner is coming to Neville Arena!#ExtendStevenPearl

Alabama guard Labaron Philon tied his career-high with 35 points in last week’s loss against Michigan.
Philon was the only player this season to score more than 34 points against the Wolverines.
Philon’s performance against Michigan will go down as one of the top individual performances in program history.
The young man left it all on the court in what could end up being his final game in an Alabama uniform!

English

@CrimsonCoverage You loss. Shut the hell up. You loss. Take the L
English

In three of the last four seasons, Alabama will have lost in the “Big Dance” to a team that went on to play in the national championship. The last four losses in the tournament came against San Diego State (‘22-‘23), UConn (‘23-‘24), and Michigan (‘25-‘26).
I’m not sure any team has ever suffered losses to the eventual national champions or runner-ups in a four-year window like Alabama did.
Nate Oats has the Alabama basketball program in a position that it is uncommon with — consistently competing for a conference championship and a roster equipped to compete for national championships.
That has been the expectation and will continue to be for the foreseeable future in Tuscaloosa.

English

@FultonW_ “Great job Oats on winning the 1st half of the Michigan game” you see how dumb you are
English

We didn’t give Nate Oats enough credit for that gameplan in the Sweet 16 when Alabama led Michigan at halftime
Matt Norlander@MattNorlander
CBS Sports research: Michigan is the first team since 1967-68 UCLA to lead by 15-plus at halftime in the Elite Eight and in the Final Four. That team went 29-1 and had a guy named Alcindor — the greatest college player there ever was — starting at center.
