Jennings: We’re winning. We have b-52 bombers circling Iran, refueling over Iran. And they can do what they want at will. We have total air supremacy.
Phillip: And the Strait of Hormuz is still closed. Iran is still in control of basically the global oil market at this moment. They are determining how high the prices go. They're tolling ships to go through, allowing people who they like to go through as long as they pay a toll, they are making twice as much money as they were making before this war started.
English

@RodDMartin Do you know what you’re even looking at? First, 125-150 ships pass through a day, when it’s not closed. Second, almost all are passing through the area where they have to pay a toll.
English

@StockSavvyShay Looks like a majority of them are taking the route where they pay a toll to pass. FAR from declaring the strait open. Plus, consider, 120-150 ships pass through daily, when not closed. Compare that to now.
English

@ClayTravis Because they know it reacts to the last thing Trump does/says. It’s an indicator of nothing.
English

@Acyn @MeidasTouch Lol @ anyone who thought this was an announcement of an end to the war.
English

@WhiteHouse You assist in starting the war. Iran retaliated by closing the strait. You can’t diplomatically or militarily get the strait open, and now just say, “welp, it’s your problem now”. If there was no risk, you’d have done it already.
English

@AmitSegal Without boots on the ground, how would anyone know? Remember, this is the same “intelligence” that claimed their nuclear program was “obliterated” a few months ago.
English

@sandeep_PT No chance it’s #1. Trump is too much of a narcissist to not want to be the one to announce that. You missed possibility #3…we learn nothing from the announcement, and it’s the same old stuff.
English

Possibility 1: We have won. We are leaving. You take care.
Possibility 2: We are now launching boots-on-the-ground.

BREAKING: The US Department of War announces it will be holding a press conference at 8 AM ET on Tuesday.

@mjpsports @itmeolliev @WileyNihily @robpizzola Those are guaranteed, and shared between teams. You don’t think the attendance for a single game matters? Why not start some games overnight for the people who can’t fall asleep?
English

@BrilynHollyhand Trump 1.0 as well? Or do we skip past placing blame on him all together?
English

@DCVegas77 @robpizzola Ok. The MLB schedule has very little to do with who is watching the games at home. If they cared, they wouldn’t start every game at the same time based on time zone.
English

@WarFSU29 @robpizzola Im in the West, and 9 or 10 games aren't about gambling. Morning tv is either sports debate or judge shows
English

@ShaykhSulaiman Does this happen before or after Mexico pays for “the wall”?
English

@mjpsports @WileyNihily @robpizzola The point is….how many people does that benefit, and financially, how is that benefiting the team? That would have to offset the $$$ lost having a game in April at 1, with people at work, kids in school, versus 7.
English

@WileyNihily @robpizzola @WarFSU29 I beg to differ. Everyday across the country would have it on 1 of the tvs. From March to October to be able to have something to put on the tv day m and day out at 12:30 would be excellent
English

@Geiger_Capital Yep. No resolution all week. EOB Friday….Iran will be “radical again”, and then a week from now, “negotiating”.
English

@dankfrank214 @robpizzola Yeah. There was an ordinance with the neighborhood that there were no night games. That has since changed, although they’ll still play Friday day games.
English

@robpizzola @WarFSU29 right .. i remember watching the cubs during the day on WGN it seemed every home game
English

@bobbyaz85 @robpizzola Hence the reason most games (especially when school is still in session) are at night.
