This is actually a really important bit that gets forgotten—Diana was sent to Patriarch’s World to defeat Ares. That’s it. It was ARES who gave her the mission of peace, to save man from himself. To teach the world to be better and move on from the worst of Ares’ ways. 1/10
Daily Wonderfam ⭐🙅🏻‍♀️⭐@dailywonderfam

As he withdraws from the mortal world, vowing to never again meddle in mortal matters, Ares tasks Diana with saving mankind from themselves. From Wonder Woman (1987) #6

It’s not getting as much publicity as the last one so it’s important we amplify it and keep the world’s eyes on. They are, as always, at risk.

The Global Sumud Flotilla is en route to Gaza once again. This time it’s bigger than ever, with over 70 boats and 1,000 participants from across the world all attempting to break Israel’s blockade and deliver lifesaving aid ⛵️🇵🇸

Me: HA!! This is my book! I can write whatever I want!! Adaptation or not, I am not beholden to the narratives of the past. They are mine to play with and bend to MY will!!! Also me, feeling the irreversible pull of fate as I adapt Iphigenia in Aulis into my Trojan War retelling

@NyetNyan A myth mention on one hand, less compromising and more…character development on the other lol Nice to look at, but not what I’m looking for rn unfortunately. Rucka’s two for two in showing off Ares’ tits though, so that’s something

@WarGodTalk Closest thing iirc would be first Rucka run where Ares referenced/retold a version of the myth when he and Aphrodite were caught together by Hephaestus. We do get to see him chained by Aphrodite in his Rebirth run, but it's not really a compromising one.

@WarGodTalk In the golden age, issue two I think, Aphrodite referenced that she once bound him but he escaped. I dunno if that count tho

As someone who also has celiac disease I cannot stress enough how important this campaign is. Gluten free food is ridiculously expensive no matter where in the world you go, so please help support Amir so he can have enough money to eat.

kids in palestine live in such awful conditions to the point they have to take classes inside tents instead of a school and then they still get brutally murdered in the middle of it.. and somehow people aren't as angry as they should be. rest in peace
sarah@sahouraxo

Israel killed this little Palestinian girl in Gaza today. They shot her while she was sitting in class inside a tent in Beit Lahia. She was only 9 years old. No headlines. No outrage. No condemnation. Not a peep from the “international community.”
