@NyetNyan @ChespasB She-Hulk and Agatha were massive flops. Young Justice was originally canceled due to low toy sales. For most series, especially animated ones, the studios are also trying to sell merch. toys, clothing, ect. WW merch doesn't sell nearly as well.

@PinkTheDinosau1 @ChespasB What utter nonsense. Kpop Demon Hunters is a huge success. Young Justice and DCSHG have considerable young female audience base. And who says animation/shows must exclusively target the youths? Over at Marvel they have Wandavision, Agatha and even She-Hulk are touted as success.

@ChespasB I think the main problem is the target audience. Most girls aren't into superheroes. which means not many toys would be sold if it were animated. Live action could work, but would be expensive. Also, with how badly Batwoman bombed, I doubt they want to risk that with a big name.

@WarGodTalk Closest thing iirc would be first Rucka run where Ares referenced/retold a version of the myth when he and Aphrodite were caught together by Hephaestus. We do get to see him chained by Aphrodite in his Rebirth run, but it's not really a compromising one.

If your #1 issue is Gaza, that’s 100% OK. If you think Harris & Trump are tied on that issue, fine. Move to your #2 most important issue. If they’re tied on not wanting to abolish ICE, move to #3. This isn’t hard. Put on your big boy pants and make a choice.

Take #20 to #21, we got the reveal of the nature of the dogs and Veronica's change in motivation, which leads to the gate opening next issue. Getting trades that collects arcs was the middle ground.

I really think limiting yourself to voting in a broken two-party system is neoliberal conformity which evinces a limited view of political activity: collective action, third parties, protest etc.. You can ask more from politics than ‘the least bad’
