To be clear, I HATE this mindset. I want to help, educate, and protect people when I think they are going down a path that is bad for them to go down. But doing so only builds a mote between me and those I’m trying to help.

I’m beginning to learn that we are in a society where, if you engage, even to argue against the stupidity, you are stooping down to their level. The only way to stay above is to not engage and ignore those who fall down the trap.

Ran some supplies out to Kerr County with Brandon and met up with Wes Virdell. This is right around the corner from Camp Mystic, where 20 to 25 little girls went missing . Miles and miles of cars, trees, and homes piled on top of one another. First responders told us it’s a huge holiday weekend there with hundreds of out of towners staying on the river bank, which means they really can’t give a solid count on how many people are actually missing. This community is gonna need support in the following days. Keep an eye out on how to help. We’ll try to figure out more tomorrow. Heading back in a couple hours when it’s light outside.

@quantumfiber never has so many outrages in one year in northern Colorado since switching to quantum. I didn’t even get reimbursed for the week long outage a few months ago. This might be the last straw.
