I think Alabama State might’ve made the best hire of the coaching carousel cycle. This dude Chris Wright took Langston to two NAIA national title games in four years and they were 1-27 the season before he got there. 332-121 as a head coach in his career!

Shouldn’t be looked as a negative, guys like him need to garner usage and reps right away rather than riding the bench at a P5, he would’ve just went down a level if didn’t play. The 25 class while stronger, was the staple of it, multiple all conference mid major freshman’s who now are viewed upon greater than a number of top 100 HM guys who couldn’t find any minutes. Just a shift in HS recruiting that I don’t think is actually a negative, love seeing freshman play off jump.

Another huge get for the Govs! Loyola Chicago wing Chuck Love III is coming to Stacheville! 🔥🎩

Terrific addition for Austin Peay. Chuck Love has size and can really shoot it. He’ll form a strong trio next to sophomore guard Zyree Collins and stud big-man Rashaud Marshall.

NEWS: Loyola Chicago transfer Chuck Love III has committed to Austin Peay, he told @LeagueRDY. The 6-7 freshman out of Lincoln, Nebraska is a former Top-100 prospect who played one season for the Ramblers. He averaged 7.2PPG, 2.6RPG and 1.0APG in 2025-26.
