Madjid Bougherra 🇩🇿 Bougherra joined #RangersFC from Charlton Athletic for £2.5 million in August 2008. He quickly became a "cult hero" known for his marauding runs from central defence. During his three year stay at the club, Bougherra made 113 total appearances, scoring 5 goals. In his three seasons, Rangers won the Scottish Premier League title every year (2008–09, 2009–10, 2010–11). He also won one Scottish Cup (2009) and two Scottish League Cups (2010, 2011). His time at Ibrox ended in August 2011 when he signed for Qatari side Lekhwiya for £1.7 million, shortly after being sent off in a Champions League qualifier against Malmo.
