@seatedro It would still lay out a plan but for example I'd like some piece of code to be a concrete named abstraction that has a defined interface instead of just being "something we assume is the case"

@seatedro With my current work the "thing" is an amalgamation of ideas/implementations that already exist, and there are papers that describe their mechanisms and internals, so it's very easy for it to figure out what to do but I still have to nudge it in the right direction

@seatedro The entire issue stems from people forgetting that to approach a daunting/difficult problem you need to be able to break it down into actionable, atomic units of work that are much more approachable. The way in which you perform this decomposition is up to you, just do it.

@seatedro A thing I'd like to add here is that they are great for telling you what to do (in some cases what steps you need to take to get there) and this is how I use them. If I decide to codegen I just end up changing a lot anyways so there's no point.
