Today we celebrate the exciting partnership between @YuYingPCS and @WashingtonLatin as we break ground on their new, state of the art learning campus. This space will expand access to a high-quality education for more than 1,000 students in Ward 5 and across the District.

Yesterday, Eastern Market Metro Park hosted another youth chess tournament put on by @BarracksRow & US Chess Center. There was some serious hardware on the line! Congrats to all the winners & special shout out to @WashingtonLatin & @BrentElementary for their top team finishes!

Recently, students learning Arabic at @WashingtonLatin took a trip to Morocco! The scholars had fun exploring, learning about the country’s cultures, and even tested their language skills in the process. 🇲🇦

Recently, @getupdc and @easternmotors surprised the young runners at @WashingtonLatin with a visit and a check! It’s amazing to see the support for scholars, who are working to unlock their inner strength through emotional and physical training. 🏃🏽‍♀️@gotrdc
