@collapsealready @trains710 @SFGreat_America Also the staircase is not the focus for 2026. It’s a minor update. The big focus is the 50th anniversary celebration, a history museum in Orleans Place honoring the Marriott era and beyond that, and a new celebration parade, and other touch ups.

Roar at Six Flags America: I am actually sad this ride died. The worst part about Roar is that it actually had a really great layout. It was just way too rough to actually enjoy it. If this park hadn't been so neglected, a GCI retrack like Grizzly could have made it amazing.

IRON WOLF … REBORN! 🐺🎢🤯 The National Roller @CoasterMuseum acquired one of the trains from the first ever B&M standup coaster, and they had it restored and reskinned back to its original 1990s theme. IRON WOLF opened at Six Flags Great America @SFGreat_America in 1990. It was the first coaster ever designed and manufactured by Bolliger & Mabillard. B&M has gone on to become one the most successful manufacturers of steel coasters in the world. The ride was eventually sent to Six Flags America where it was rethemed to Apocalypse. Then it was converted to a floorless sitdown coaster named Firebird. The museum acquired one of the trains after Six Flags America closed for good in 2025. 📸: The Carpetbagger
