#RNIFF awards! Ellyn Jade won Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama, Comedy, Limited Series & Eric Schweig won Outstanding Supporting Actor. Ellyn is Anishinaabe from Wabadowgawg (Whitesand First Nation) in Ontario. Eric is a Cdn-born Inuit actor of mixed descent. Congrats!

An eye opening show that poignantly portrays the horrific practice of tearing First Nation children from their families, events that tragically resonates with indigenous peoples across the world. Highly recommend.
