@Sonia554 @miucciapraga @beyoncegarden Yup. The biggest problems sea turtles have are loss of nesting habitat (resorts mostly) and fishing nets. I just spent 3 weeks on a little sandy islet 50 miles off the coast of Belize tagging sharks. There’s a turtle nesting area there, but it’s the wrong time of year for babies

@miucciapraga @beyoncegarden Sea turtles use the Earth's geo-magnetic force to navigate, not scent. It can take 10-50 years for them to reach sexual maturity which drives them back to their natal beach. Helping the young'uns into the water actually improves their odds of survival.
