Excellent post and great leadership. Our insurance company provides weekly safety topics, a brief in english & spanish- as a courtesy. Would be glad to share a few. Field Superintendents lead the talk, and circulate sign in sheet. Previous firm, we also incorporated stretching drills for multiple reasons. Safety first!

My partner Scott has been leading our Monday Morning Safety meetings and they’ve been super valuable. Today we covered: 1) Audibles. Even tho we have comms systems, they don’t pick up everything. It’s super important to verify the climber hears you say “Under” and visa versa 2) Processing Cane Picks. Making sure the piece is fully settled, slings are untied, and everyone is clear before cutting. We discussed how best to cut for production and safety 3) Mental reset. When things get tough or something breaks down. it’s better to take a breath step away and reevaluate than keep hammering away doing something that’s not working
