Today, I was honored to visit the Rio Grande Valley State Veterans Cemetery in Mission to pay tribute to the service members who made the ultimate sacrifice. Our freedoms are not free. To our Gold Star Families, our nation will never forget your sacrifices, and you remain in our thoughts and prayers. May God bless you, and may God bless the U.S.

Big win in the House this week! I was incredibly proud to help advance the 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act! I will continue to fight to lower costs and restore the American dream of homeownership.

For 30 years, lawmakers have worked together to create a space for the American women who fought tirelessly for our rights. It is absolutely unacceptable that anyone would oppose this bill simply because we are working to ensure only biological women will be honored in a space explicitly designed for women. I look forward to voting YES on this critical legislation because I represent a community that respects women, understands biology, and values common sense. This vote is for all the women – the abuelitas, the moms, sisters, and friends – who paved the way for all of us to achieve our dreams.

Last week, I was proud to honor two exceptional DPS Honor Guard Officers from South Texas: Trooper Juan Zuniga and Trooper Roman Gonzalez. The Troopers were in DC for Police Week, and I am so glad that they were able to experience this special honor in-person! Thank you to these men for their unwavering commitment to preserving the legacy of our fallen heroes! 🇺🇸

Legislative Update: Last week, I honored Texas law enforcement by supporting efforts to memorialize the brave officers who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. I also joined efforts to protect South Texas ranchers by cosponsoring the SAFE CATTLE Act, which ensures federal coordination to stop the New World Screwworm and safeguard our agricultural community.

Moms.gov aims to improve maternal health outcomes by increasing access to affordable medication through Trump Rx, a directory of local pregnancy centers in your community, and essential nutritional guidelines.
