At the time of writing, there were five political parties between 10-25% in a Westminster voting intention poll. FPTP is dead; and if Starmer doesn't want to be the one responsible for Reform getting >50% of MPs with <30% of votes, he has to call a referendum on PR voting.

The Dow was down 1,200+ intraday today amid Iran conflict/oil spikes but closed only -403 pts (-0.83%) at 48,501. It didn't hold for a 1k+ close. Historically ~15 closing drops >1k pts ever—all since 2018 (Dow now ~48k, so bigger absolute moves are normal). 11 of them during Trump's terms (2 in 2018, 8 in 2020, 1 in 2025). Percentages tell the real story: today's close was mild.

What they’re basically saying is that Starmer and the UK isn’t allowed to operate an even moderately independent foreign policy outside of the United States. That is both ahistoric, wrong and weird for people who constantly tell us how sovereignty is what matters most.
