Most Americans I meet ask me about what we went through and what the situation is like in South Africa. I can see the genuine horror in their faces when I tell them. Sometimes I actually don't tell them the whole story as I can see it upsets them greatly. Americans are good people. They are not accustomed to the violence, the gore and the brutality that became every day life for us........ and I pray they never need to either. 🙏

There are only about 5 million whites in South Africa (currently being murdered at a rapid rate), but among South African tech founders in the U.S. are Elon Musk, Peter Thiel, David Sachs and Roelof Botha.

I hate to break it to you, but we caused this during apartheid. Black men were ripped from their families to work on mines, living in hostels far away from home with little money to spare to visit their families. We broke the family unit
