@WayneBoyce POPLA should acknowledge an appeal within 14 days and decide within 35 days. If delayed, they must inform you and give a new date if needed. Hoping you hearback soon

@BritishParking great scam from @parkingeye_cs so I visit Fleet services on successive days travelling back from London but their ANPR conveniently didn’t record me leaving on the 1st day & arriving again the next day! As a result I get £100 fine for being parked 18 hours

@resolvoparking I have appealed again to POPLA so I guess I’ll wait and see what they say but don’t hold out much hope! If only you could speak to a human being to explain what’s clearly an ANPR malfunction, but they just want the money!

@resolvoparking They said that the parking ticket I sent as evidence was purchased in an invalid place! It’s was meant to show them that my car was in a different place at the same tim they were accusing me of parking at Fleet! Then offered to reduce the fine to £20! Which I won’t pay either!

🇸🇦 There are no known Forgotten Football Clubs from the State of Saudi Arabia...why? A lot of Saudi clubs have been active for decades, and the current influx of stars going there has just highlighted that there is a football league in the country, and has been for more than 50 years. However, not one club has been reported dissolved... Is this a good or a bad thing? In my research, numerous clubs through the history of Saudi Arabian football have found themselves in some sort of financial difficulty, however, any club that has come close to dissolving is usually bailed out by the King, Sultan, or Prince from the country. Basically, a wad of cash is thrown at the club, and the problem is fixed. However, there have been cases of whole boards of members being dissolved due to 'Violations of the country's basic regulations for sports clubs', with the most recent being back in February 2024, when the board of Al Safa FC where dissolved, and even arrested due to fans chanting and slogans being displayed at a match. (The club still continues to play in the First Division of Saudi Arabian football. ) Even Ronaldo's Al Nassir have come into this category, having their board of members dissolved back in January 2018. It begs the question....should governments, monarchies, or higher powers get involved in football clubs, even if the football club is on the brink of folding? What are your thoughts? 🤔

I’m sorry @AirportSchiphol but well over an hour to get through security and passport control at a modern airport is completely unacceptable (actually pathetic) & could’ve been avoided as there were 4x as many lanes closed as open! #needlessqueueing

@elie73smith @AirportSchiphol It must be to save money on staff wages! The infrastructure is all in place but if it’s not switched on or open it’s pointless! Arrived at the gate as flight was boarding despite being there 2 hours before flight time!! Hope you’re well and all is good , great to hear from you👍

@WayneBoyce @AirportSchiphol They can easily make you miss your flight.If it took you 1 hr to get through security check, @AirportSchiphol,recently it took me 2 hrs to go security checks at the Lome airport in Togo.Where I experienced the fastest security check was at Nnamdi Azikiwe Airport,Abuja,Nigeria.
