No matter what happens, it saddens me deeply that rape, felonies, trying to overthrow our democracy, misogyny, racism and transphobia are somehow not deal breaks for 10’s of millions of Americans.

Seniors voted to gut Social Security. Men voted for their wives and daughters to die from miscarriages. Immigrants voted for deportation raids. Poor people voted for tax cuts for billionaires. Women voted to have fewer rights than men. Police voted for a convicted felon.

So the guy who stole documents has access to them again. Fuck you Merrick Garland.

Well done to Merrick Garland for continuously letting criminals run free in our govt and letting their seditious crimes go unpunished for years.

At the moment, America gives every indication of having chosen the whirlwind. I hope that turns out not to be so. If it does, the suffering ahead will be *incalculable*—much of it experienced by those who voted for a criminal, con man, and rapist tonight. But I’ll keep hoping.

Imagine if Merrick Garland had just done his job and swiftly prosecuted Donald Trump after Jan 6?! Trump would be in prison today where he belongs instead of on the ballot.
